MONITORING CENTER

Once the carry on waterproof transmitter pendant or wrist watch ALERT button is pressed from anywhere in the home, the FIRST ALERT SYSTEM automatically dials our AlERT Monitoring Center without having to pick up a telephone.

The FIRST ALERT Dispatchers will answer the call and speak to you through the two-way voice system from wherever you are located in the home.

The monitoring center will ask some brief information which they will have on file that you provided when you subscribed for the First Alert System such as:-

 

Address

Directions to your house (Site Map)

Telephone number

Allergic reactions to medication

Hospital Preference

List of contact persons

(Family, friends)

Brief Medical History

Physician name and telephone number

EMERGENCY SYSTEMS & ALLIED SERVICES (ESAS) introduces its Remote Emergency Alert Notification Service, “ESAS FIRST ALERT” which is designed with all St. Lucians in mind, young and old.

​

The system allows a 24 hour operator or Emergency Dispatcher at an Alarm Monitoring Center to monitor all clients registered and using the ESAS FIRST ALERT SERVICES.

 

how does it work?

1.    At the touch of a button on your carry on water proof TRANSMITTER an emergency signal is transmitted to ESAS FIRST ALERT Central.

2.     An ESAS Central operator will make 2-way voice contact through the system upon contact a series of questions are asked to ensure everything is OK.

​

3.   If no contact is made local emergency personnel are contacted or if requested, Responders (family, friends, and neighbors) will be notified.

SUPPORT SERVICES: Our ESAS First Alert Monitoring Center will dispatch qualified personnel as a precautionary measure following the notification of the relevant authority or emergency service agency of your emergency alert status.

 

How is the ESAS FIRST ALERT SYSTEM installed?

 

The First Alert system will be installed by our qualified Technicians who will visit your premises to facilitate the activation process.  We will also provide a step by step guide with technical support numbers and information.

FAQ:

1. What if there is a power outage at my home?

​

The First Alert system has a rechargeable back-up battery that will keep your First Alert operating for up to 18 hours. Once power is restored, the back-up battery automatically recharges.

​

2. Do I speak into the pendant?

No. The First alert base unit is the only device that will pick up two-way -voice.

​

3. What is Two-way-voice?

Two-way-voice is where the First Alert operator speaks to you directly through the system treats every signal as an emergency unless you tell them no emergency exists.

 

4. How far from the base will the pendant work?

 

The pendant will communicate with the base approximately 500 feet away. This may be more or less depending on the construction of your residence and the location of the alarm system in your home.
